Working principle of low pressure heat exchanger
Tubular heat exchangers can be divided into vertical heat exchangers and horizontal heat exchangers. The vertical heat exchanger covers a small area and is convenient for maintenance, but its heat transfer effect is lower than that of the horizontal heat exchanger, and it is widely used in power plants because of its convenient layout. The water inlet and outlet space of the heat exchanger is called the water chamber, the main condensate water goes in the tube, and the heating steam goes outside the tube. The heating surface of the low pressure heat exchanger is a tube bundle composed of copper tube directly expanded on the tube plate, and the tube bundle is fixed by a special tube frame. In order to facilitate the cleaning and maintenance of the heat exchange surface of the heat exchanger, the entire tube bundle is made into a whole, which is easy to draw from the shell. The heated water enters the water chamber from the inlet and flows into the outlet water chamber after flowing through the U-shaped tube bundle. The heating steam is introduced into the steam space from the upper part of the heat exchanger shell, and the steam flow is S-shaped by the action of the guide plate, and the condensation and heat release are carried out by washing the pipe wall. The outer wall of the tube bundle at the inlet of heating steam is equipped with a protective plate to reduce the scour and wear of the tube bundle by steam flow and extend the service life of the tube.

Performance characteristics
The use of U-shaped stainless steel pipe instead of copper alloy pipe can effectively prevent corrosion, and has a good high temperature lasting strength, high temperature impact corrosion resistance, and effectively avoid the shutdown loss caused by frequent leakage of low-pressure heat exchanger pipe system. The use of U-shaped stainless steel tubes instead of copper alloy tubes greatly improves the service life of low-pressure heat exchangers, up to more than 30 years. The low pressure heat exchanger of stainless steel pipe system is made of no leakage equipment by expansion joint and argon arc welding process.
